Feed It Onward

Northern Virginia Food Rescue is proud to support the EPA’s Feed It Onward initiative by ensuring that wholesome, surplus food is redirected to people instead of landfills. Every day, we work with grocery stores, distributors, farms, and other food donors to rescue nutritious food that would otherwise go to waste and deliver it to local food pantries, schools, shelters, and community organizations. By reducing food waste while increasing access to healthy food, we advance environmental sustainability, strengthen food security, and demonstrate that feeding people is one of the most impactful ways to reduce waste and build healthier communities.
